“And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:13-14
Esther found herself among other your and eligable women being groomed and prepared for the Kings palace. Just like many of us find ourselves amongst people who are eligable for the same blessings we desire in life. It could be in the workplace, it could be in business industries, it could be in positions of authority in societies; no matter where you find yourself by God’s grace; there is a purpose.
You may have achieved what you think is a goal, but unless you are done fulfilling God’s purpose there, you cannot move or grow. Esther wanted a way out just like we all do and tried to deny her purpose to fulfill God’s mandate. Fear did not allow her to believe God sent her to the palace for this purpose.
Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in one place in our lives, simply because we do not understand that we have been placed where we are to be groomed for a purpose. We continuously winning and complaining about where we are, instead of being the light or the salt of the Earth. How many times have we missed opportunities for elevation or breakthrough because we allowed fear to overcome us, or we doubted what God has placed inside us?
It is through understanding the purpose we are to serve in peoples lives, communities, workplaces etc, that we begin to recieve the blessings that are long that path to fulfill God’s purpose.
