I want to talk with you about faith.  Faith has a key role to play in the life of every human being. In fact, faith is what you need to become a Christian.  Faith helps us to believe in God and in His sacrifice on Calvary for us.  God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish; but have everlasting life (John 3:16). What a blessing! So, because of God’s love for us, Jesus came to earth to save us and give us eternal life.

Jesus shed His blood to wash away our sins! Faith makes us believe and accept that Jesus voluntarily sacrificed His life on the cross so that we can be forgiven our many sins.  Faith is what makes you come to Jesus, confess your sins to Him and ask Him to forgive you (1John 1:9).  Faith is what makes you ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Saviour.  Faith is what makes us believe that God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day and faith makes us confess Jesus as our Lord. The bible says in Romans 10:9-10, “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” So you see, faith leads us to salvation!
