Isaiah 51:20 “You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms;”

God has placed us on this for His own glory. He created us in His own image so that His nature may manifest through us to bring glory to His Name. In His Mighty Hand we are His instrument of accomplishing and fulfilling His Word. We are the Vessels He created to exist in limited time so as to establish His eternity.

Just like He said “You are My battle axe”; we should understand that an axe is a tool used to accomplish something; and God formed His battle axe for the purpose of warfare against the kingdom of darkness. He wants to forge this weapon ideally to use it and establish His kingdom purely to bring glory to His name.

But here we are; most of us existing for ourselves; seeking to fulfill our own desires and not paying attention to the weapon we are created to be. The battle axe is now operating itself; while God seeks to perfect His battle axe into a weapon of warfare that will punish the disobedience of the kingdom of darkness.

As a weapon of warfare, we are not carnal, but mighty through God; which means we operate as directed by Him to fulfill what He desires to accomplish using us; therefore we need to humble ourselves to His will.
