Many times we like to say “It is in God’s hands”; but how do we know that we have really left it in His hands? Many times it is easy to speak these words of faith; but to add works to our faith is where the test truly is. We often find ourselves tempted to take it back because we feel the squeeze; or we feel the pressure; or when we doubt His timing. Yes at times God uses our hands again to fulfill what we have been trusting in His hands; but how do we know it is His will?

Isaiah 26:3-4 “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.”

When our mind is stayed on Him; on His Word anf not on our situation; God provides the unspeakable peace as an assurance. Remember God is not moved by words alone; but He knows our hearts and tests our minds. When we have left the storm in God’s hands, we experience the stillness; the calmness and at that moment begin to know that He is God.

Leaving it in God’s hands means that we trust whatever steps He directs us to take; we trust His timing; and we do not lose hope.
