“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him” – Hebrews 11:6

Many times we fail to trust God because we set out to pursue our desires without Him, only to later try to let go of our own understanding after a long and harsh struggle. The question is that; is that really how it is supposed to be, or we delay our own blessings or breakthroughs by first attempting on our own?

If we acknowledge God, and believe He exists, and we believe that He does talk to us, we do away with the harsh struggle because we set out to pursue with the understanding that He is in control. Trusting God is trusting His ability; trusting He is who He says He is; trusting that without Him we can accomplish nothing; trusting in the impossible He is able to make possible; trusting His word will not return to Him without accomplishing what He sent it to do.

God sent His Son Jesus to earth; and He did not return to Him without accomplishing what He sent Him to do. Jesus is God’s word made flesh, and He came to manifest Himself as He was sent and only returned to Him after “It is Finished”. He came as a key to unlock and verify the promises in His Word. But to unlock His promises, we first need to trust the Word is able to accomplish all things for us through the Key which is Jesus.

To trust God; we need to believe that indeed He exists as His Word and also that the Key He gave us is able to unlock His promises by actually using the Key without a doubt. Acting on this faith is the first step of the trust that pleases God.
